Hawera Competitions were fabulous

As a studio we always enjoy attending Hawera Performing Arts Competition - super friendly and a lovely theatre to perform in. Our students performed with fantastic results achieving Championships - special awards - and personal bests. But most importantly our students love of dance shone on stage while having fun with friends backstage.

Mentioning some highlights from a fabulous 4 days of dance comps covering tap - jazz and ballet:-

Amelie - Senior Ballet Championship - ballet scholarship - musical theatre scholarship along with 1sts, 2nds, 3rds and aggregate cups - and most authentic character costume :)

Jessica - Intermediate Ballet Championship - most versatile dancer scholarship - cup for most authentic character costume u12 - 1sts and 2nds and aggregate cups along with the cup for the highest mark for barefoot solo over the whole competition

Briar - 1sts, 2nds and 3rds over tap, jazz and ballet sections.

All our students shone onstage - a fabulous ending to our year of dance competitions - onto 2025 with new challenges and achievements to look forward too.

Hawera comps was also for our senior Amelie her last ever dance competition to perform in - a fitting end to 11 years of dedication and commitment where her love of dance has always shone onstage and off :)
